- What qualifications do I need to take an Evening programme?
No qualifications are required. Some advanced courses require that the beginners’ course be taken first.

Each programme runs one evening a week for 12 weeks.

Evening Programmes are run three times a year and begin in January, May, and September.

C. Lomer Alleyne Skills Training Centre
The CLA centre is where most of the Board’s Evening programmes are held. It is known for its Agricultural and Engineering programmes. CLA is the BVTB’s largest centre and it continues to be expanded.

Within three years, I began as an Apprentice Welder and have become an Operator, by gaining experience in welding, fabrication, and by receiving Autocad training.
